A Definition of Digital Humanities

Digital Humanities also commonly refered to as (DH) is an interdisciplinary field that combines traditional humanities scholarship and techniques with digital technologies to explore, analyze, and present human culture as knowledge in the digital age. DH is a transformative force that has the potential to reshape how we understand and interact with historical artifacts, arts, and literary works. By incorporating digital tools and methods, we can uncover patterns in large corpora that might have been impossible to detect manually, allowing scholars to enhance our understanding of the material while simultaneously opening up new avenues of research.
