NASA’s media and content policies are designed to encourage the public use of their materials as a U.S. government agency, their content is generally not copyrighted making it available for public use under the principle of public domain minus a few exceptions. NASA still encourages users to credit the agency as the source of the material, and some content, such as logos, insignias, partnership materials, and images of employees may have some restrictions and are not available for free use.
